Gimme a break, Sean Hannity

I dig Sean Hannity- but that interview w/ Dwane "Dog" Chapman (I like him, too) was stupid. The part about Dog wanting to be burried in the slave's graveyard at George Washington's Mount Vernon was completely ridiculous.
Sean- you're a big star but you've got to show us you understand how idiotic this is by at least raising an eyebrow or SOMETHING to show that you get it.....

Not-so-secret Joe Crummey appearance

Tomorrow night from 9-11pm I'll be filling in for Kevin James @ 870 KRLA.
Don't ask why. I'd have to kill you.

Cell phone rip off!

Such a deal #2

Did you know that the City of Los Angeles taxes your monthly cell phone bill at a rate of 10%? This is in addition to a Federal tax, a California Public Utilities tax, and 6 other State taxes, but the city still beats them all with a 10% chunk.
Oddly enough this "little" tax very well may be ruled unconsitutional by the State courts because we, the tax payers, never voted for it the first place. When this happens the City of L.A. will lose 270 million dollars of phone tax revenue.
Lucky for us the evil geniuses downtown are proposing a ballot measure asking us to vote for a reduction of the phone tax from 10% to 9%.

Who wouldn't vote for that?

Unfortunately by approving a one percent "reduction" we'll actually be voting for a 9 percent tax when we would have had NO TAX AT ALL!

It's in her genes

It was classc Hillary. At the conclusion of the last Democtartic debate at Darthmouth College, moderator Tim Russert jokingly asked her who'd she root for in a hypothetical World Series matchup between the New York Yankees and her hometown Chicago Cubs.
She said she would "alternate." We don't know if she meant every other pitch, or every other out or every other inning or even every other game but it doesn't matter.
Her response to this stupid little question speaks volumes about her inability to be accountable for a point-of-view even when talking about something as trivial as Sports. Sure, I could juxtapose a bunch of flip flops about Torture, the Iraq war, etc... but why bother? If you can't take a stand on a baseball team...

Such a deal!

Mayor Villaraigosa thinks he's a genius. He he wants credit for saving the City of L.A. a million bucks by hiring an outside law firm to settle the Tennie Pierce lawsuit. He doesn't mention what that law firm charged us... you guessed it- a million dollars. Can you say, wash?
